Prime Minister Marin will continue working remotely. She feels good and the symptoms are mild.

Prime Minister Sanna Marin (the SDP) has tested negative for the coronavirus. “While the respiratory symptoms continue I will continue working remotely for now,” Prime Minister Marin said on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon. “It’s important that one doesn’t go to work with symptoms and in result subject others [to the virus]. I feel good and the symptoms are mild.”
In a message sent by Marin to Finnish tabloid Ilta-Sanomat, Marin said that “the situation is similar to other families.” “Child has begun day care after the summer break, and this way I have gotten my symptoms as well,” she said.
Marin and her husband have a daughter, Emma, who was born in January 2018.
