POLICE SAY it is possible the man found under a crushed car in Myyrmäki, Vantaa, was the victim of a homicide. Police are currently investigating the case as a homicide, but the category of crime may change during the investigation.

“At this stage, we cannot rule out the possibility that the events may have been intentional,” Rauno Jämsä, the detective inspector and the head of the investigation said in a statement.

The police, according to the Finnish tabloid Ilta-Sanomat, caught the young man driving the car after noon on Friday. At this stage, according to the paper, the police do not know whether he was actually driving a car.

“When we arrived, the car was empty. We do not yet know who was driving the car,” Jämsä told the tabloid.
