UPDATED:

In the video above, filmed on Finland’s 101st Independence Day, you will be able to witness the march of neo-Nazis and nationalists in Helsinki, which began in Kaisaniemi Park in the late afternoon, and as it strolls through Kallio district and all the way to Töölö. There are several counter-protesters, who do not wish to have neo-Nazis marching through their neighborhood.

After that, our video follows the 612 nationalist torchlight procession, as it begins at the Töölö Square in the evening and moves to the Hietaniemi cemetery. Along the way, protesters against racism shout slogans to the nationalists. One of the slogans, “Imekää paskaa” translates to “Suck shit” in English.

In a following article, we will show the highlights of the day in pictures.
