Thousands of young Finns are celebrating their graduation today. 62,000 students finish their studies from comprehensive school, while 25,100 graduates leave from upper secondary school with a diploma in hand.

Around eight percent of the graduates from comprehensive school speak a foreign language. The number, according to the Finnish National Agency for Education, has increased slightly.

About 44,000 students are receiving a vocational degree. The exact number is available later in July.

Prime Minister Sanna Marin congratulated all graduates on Twitter:

As did President Sauli Niinistö:

Finland Today wants to congratulate all graduates as well!
