Thousands of young Finns are celebrating their graduation today. 62,000 students finish their studies from comprehensive school, while 25,100 graduates leave from upper secondary school with a diploma in hand.
Around eight percent of the graduates from comprehensive school speak a foreign language. The number, according to the Finnish National Agency for Education, has increased slightly.
About 44,000 students are receiving a vocational degree. The exact number is available later in July.
