Ellie Goulding, 28, with her beautiful brown eyes and golden blonde hair grabs the mic. “I am so supershy,” she says and looks in the audience of about 12,000 at Ruisrock festival in Turku on Friday night. “This microphone will be my friend.” And indeed, they form a great couple.
Goulding, the shy singer from England, is one of the most popular female singers at the moment.
Her live performance was mesmerizing. The crowd seemed to love every tune she sang.
And there were moments of loud gasping when she banged a few beats with the drums too, her hair swaying wildly in the air
She played her hits like Lights, Burn and after an hour it was time for Love Me Like You Do.
And the crowd sure did love her.
