Get Ready For Hot Weather Again, Starting From Sunday

Picture: Tony Öhberg for Finland Today

On Sunday, a high pressure will arrive over Finland.

The hot weather is back!

According to Meteorologist Markus Mäntykannas, the situation is similar to earlier this week and before, when temperatures climbed over 25.1 degrees Celsius, which is the definition for hot weather in Finland.

The hot weather is likely to continue to the end of next week and, perhaps, beyond.

According to the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, the long-term forecast predicts warmer weather than usual far into June.

“One could already say that this is very likely to become the hottest May during the 2000s in Finland,” Mäntykangas said.

Now is definitely one of the best times to book a domestic holiday.
