The Finnish men’s national ice hockey team, known as the Lions, advances to the medal rounds in the Olympic tournament.

The score is now 3–2. Switzerland has lost.

Team Finland advances to the semi-finals at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, moving on to the medal rounds after a tough game on Wednesday at the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.

It was not easy for Finland.

The Lions trailed Switzerland 0–2 until the end of the third period.

Then Sebastian Aho narrowed the gap, and Miro Heiskanen tied the game.

Lehkonen scored the winning goal 3:23 into overtime.
