10,000 people, according to the police, took it to the streets of Helsinki to celebrate world championship win in ice hockey on Sunday night.
The Finnish national team defeated Canada 3-1 in a phenomenal game in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Here are the highlights of the celebration, which lasted well into the wee hours on Sunday morning at the Market Square and its surroundings.
