FINLAND has been named the happiest country in the world for the seventh consecutive year in the newly released World Happiness report.

Number one, Finland, has maintained its top ranking for seven years in a row.

The report is based on global survey data from people in more than 140 countries.

Countries are ranked on happiness based on their average life evaluations over the past three years, in this case, 2021 to 2023.

The report is a partnership between Gallup, the Oxford Wellbeing Research Center, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network and an editorial board.
