HELSINKI—After a 12-hour stay in police custody, many of the activists in the Elokapina movement have returned to continue the protest at the Senate Square.

On Monday afternoon, medium-sized festive tents rose on the square while a few tents had also been set up for camping.

When Finland Today visited the scene around 13:30, the mood was relaxed, not too many activists around.

A man was sitting by the tent and strumming guitar for the empty square.
