The weather gets colder by the day thanks to the cold currents approaching from Siberia.

On Tuesday night, the snowfall got heavy in southern Finland, and bad driving weather is expected in many southern parts in the morning.

Daytime temperatures are around minus 5 degrees in southern Finland and as cold as between 15 to 20 degrees in the clearest parts up north.

It’s on Thursday when the mercury starts dropping, and on Friday it gets really cold in southern Finland, too. On Thursday, lows of around minus 12 degrees are expected in many parts.

On Friday, the mercury could drop to as low as minus 20 degrees in southern Finland. It’s worth noting that the wind is likely to make the weather feel much colder.

In the long-term forecast, the weather is going to continue freezing.
