The bus strike has ended, and bus services will return to normal on Monday.

The Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) noted in a statement that passengers who had a valid season ticket during the strike and could not use public transport for their everyday journeys due to the strike “may get a refund.”

The strike ended on Saturday, and the bus services gradually returned to normal. The strike ended after the Finnish Transport Union (AKT) reached a deal with employers that increases wages and where shop stewards can agree on shorter work shifts.
