Finland will be free from coronavirus restrictions on public gatherings beginning on October 1.

The Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland confirmed on Friday that the restrictions on Uusimaa, the last area where limitations on public gatherings are in effect, will be lifted on September 30.

The hygiene guidelines will remain in force.

Limitations on the opening hours of restaurants will be decided by the government. (An updated list of the opening hours can be found here.)
