The weather is forecast to be warm and sunny beginning on Thursday in southern, western and central areas of the country.

The temperatures are expected to stay around 13 to 15 degrees of Celsius for most of the weekend.

In northern parts and eastern Finland, it’s going to be cloudier and chillier; 5 to 10 degrees are expected.

On Saturday, isolated rain showers are possible but it’s yet unclear where and when it will pour.

Next week, beginning on Monday, the weather is going to turn cold when the Arctic Ocean will bring cold air into the country.

There could be snow falling down in Lapland and Kainuu region.

In southern and central Finland, the daytime temperatures are going to drop about 5 degrees during the week.
