Drivers with summer tires should exercise caution this weekend due to worsening conditions from snow, sleet and increasing winds, leading to blizzard-like weather on Sunday.

A storm is heading toward Finland this weekend.
It brought clouds on Friday, and rain or snow spread across the middle of the country, the Finnish Meteorological Institute notes in a news release.
Strong winds will pick up on Saturday, especially in the west and later in the east. The storm is forecast to move southeast, giving the south light rain and the north sleet or snow.
Gusts might get strong enough to cause damage.
In the south, the rain will initially fall as liquid due to milder weather, but by Sunday, driving conditions will, according to a forecast by MTV3, turn to snow even in the capital region.
Sunday is forecast to have the toughest weather.
By Sunday, the wind will also strengthen in the eastern part of the country. The strong and gusty north wind will be at its strongest in the southern and central parts of the country on Sunday. Maximum gusts will mostly be 15–20 meters per second, and in open areas and near the west coast, they will exceed 21 meters per second in places.
Driving could become tricky between Central Ostrobothnia and South Karelia.
The wind should slow down by Monday night but stay around for the next couple of days.
