Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has presented Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and former Prime Minister Sanna Marin with prestigious honorary decorations from the Ukrainian government.

Prime Minister Orpo has received the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, Second Class, one of Ukraine’s most esteemed honors, the Finnish government’s office notes in a statement.

This award recognizes his efforts to enhance cooperation between Finland and Ukraine, as well as his support for Ukraine.

The decoration was awarded in recognition of his significant personal contributions to strengthening ties between the two nations and supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Additionally, former Prime Minister Sanna Marin (SDP) has been honored with the Order of St. Olga, First Class, for her services to Ukraine.
