At 11:05 on Thursday morning, Fintraffic reported that the overnight fault in the passenger information system had been fixed. “Information boards, platform displays and announcements at railway stations are now working normally,” Fintraffic, the traffic management and information services provider, noted in a statement.

Nationwide disruptions to the rail passenger information system resulted in incorrect information on station timetable displays.

At 10:00, when Finland Today visited the Helsinki Central Station, people on the railway station platforms seemed confused. At that time, Fintraffic had “no repair estimate yet.”
