Mielen Silta ry is the first Pakistani-founded NGO in Finland, created by Kashaf Ali in 2025 to support the mental well-being, emotional resilience, and social integration of families—especially immigrant mothers and children—through inclusive, multilingual support services.

Mielen Silta ry operates three main programs:

Päiväkodista nuoreen – From Daycare to Youth
A nationwide bullying prevention initiative rooted in a powerful question: “If children are taught not to hurt others in kindergarten, why does bullying begin in school?” This project provides long-term emotional learning and support for children, families, and educators—in schools, homes, and communities.

Äitien Voimapiiri – Mothers’ Mental Health Circles
Weekly peer-led support groups for immigrant and Finnish mothers experiencing depression, anxiety, or social isolation.

Surun Silta – Grief and Trauma Healing
A support program for individuals and families facing emotional trauma or loss, offering healing circles, one-on-one care, and nature-based mindfulness.

Mielen Silta ry stands for healing without discrimination, delivering services in Finnish, English, Urdu, Hindi, Somali, Arabic, and Dari.

Mielen Silta ry is a Uusimaa-based NGO that operates across Espoo, Helsinki and Vantaa.
