There are 8,430 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Wednesday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The number of new infections between Tuesday and Wednesday is 93.
8 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (total 3,031). 21 in Mikkeli (58), 15 in Tampere (177) and 13 in Lahti (103). (We are still waiting for the full report of confirmed infections.)
One new death has been confirmed. The death toll is now at 336.
The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
