On Friday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has confirmed 720 new coronavirus infections in Finland.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the cases total in 56,407.

In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:

 237 in Helsinki, 103 in Vantaa, 95 in Rauma, 71 in Espoo, 38 in Turku and 20 in Vaasa.
