6 new deaths related to the coronavirus have been confirmed in Finland, according to the latest numbers released by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) on Monday.

The death toll is now at 677.

118  people are receiving hospital care for the symptoms caused by the virus, of which 17 patients are in intensive care.

Earlier on Monday THL reported 244 new coronavirus infections.
