On Tuesday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has confirmed 581 new coronavirus infections in Finland.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the cases total in 58,645.

In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:

149 in Helsinki, 70 in Vantaa, 50 in Rauma, 49 in Espoo, 31 in Turku and 27 in Oulu.

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:
