There are 8,627 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Monday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The number of new infections between Sunday and Monday is 47.
10 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (total 3,073). 7 in Vantaa (1,027), 5 in Espoo (1,048), 6 in Lestijärvi, 4 in Mikkeli (66), 3 in Jyväskylä (166), 3 in Turku (297), 1 in Kouvola (31), 1 in Tuusula (77), 1 in Joensuu (18), 1 in Äänekoski (13), 1 in Hyvinkää (3), 1 in Kirkkonummi (95), 1 in Tampere (179), 1 in Kuusamo (7).
Between Saturday and Sunday 23 coronavirus infections were confirmed with most cases, a total of eight, confirmed in Helsinki.
No new deaths have been confirmed. The death toll is at 337.
The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
