There are 8,557 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Saturday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Friday and Saturday is 45.

7 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (total 3,055). 10 in Lahti (120), 6 in Vantaa, 3 in Mikkeli (62), 2 in Turku (292), 2 in Jyväskylä (163), 2 in Hyvinkää (80), 2 in Espoo (1,041), 2 in Tuusula (75), 1 in Tampere (178), 1 in Kouvola (30), 1 in Sipoo (83), 1 in Äänekoski (12), 1 in Järvenpää 129), 1 in Kirkkonummi (94), in Valkeakoski (15), 1 in Rovaniemi (31).

No new deaths have been confirmed. The death toll is at 337.

The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
