244 new coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Finland on Monday, according to the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The total is now 45,482.

In the past 24 hours, most new infections were found in the following cities:

53 in Helsinki, 42 in Vantaa, 32 in Espoo and 21 in Turku.

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:

Last weekend, 836 new coronavirus infections were confirmed with most infections found in Helsinki: 162.
