On Tuesday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) confirmed 219 new coronavirus infections in Finland.

In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:

52 in Helsinki, 22 in Tampere, 14 in Espoo, 11 in Vantaa, 8 in Turku.

In addition, new infections were also confirmed, for example, in Lahti (7), Kouvola (7), Jyväskylä (6), Ilmajoki (6), Vaasa (5), Oulu (4), Kaarina (4), Kajaani (4), Porvoo (3), Suonenjoki (3), Raisio (3), Nurmijärvi (3), Lempäälä (3), Soini (3), Salo (2), Seinäjoki (2), Sotkamo (2), Lappeenranta (2), Laihia (2), Järvenpää (2), Joensuu (2), Kirkkonummi (2), Kerava (2).
