This Monday, a 16-year-old boy was taken into custody in Helsinki’s Arabianranta district, suspected of involvement in a knife attack, the police noted in a statement.
Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the Hermannin rantatie tram stop at approximately 14:30 after receiving a report of a violent offense. Officials confirmed that a 17-year-old boy had sustained stab wounds.
The 16-year-old suspect is presently under investigation for attempted manslaughter, although the charges could be modified as the inquiry progresses.
