On Monday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) confirmed 156 new coronavirus infections in Finland.
In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:
59 in Helsinki, 29 in Espoo, 14 in Vantaa, 7 in Turku, 3 in Kirkkonummi, 3 in Tuusula.
Last weekend, a total of 564 new coronavirus infections were confirmed. Most cases were found in Helsinki: 179.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Finland is 100,312.
UPDATED 15:44: The total number of new infections on Monday is 156. Our earlier report mistakenly said 150.
