On Tuesday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) confirmed 125 new coronavirus infections in Finland.
In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:
Helsinki (44), Tampere (12), Espoo (11), Turku (9).
New infections were also confirmed in, among others, Kannus (6), Hämeenlinna (3), Riihimäki (3), Oulu (3), Mikkeli (3), Lempäälä (3).
On Monday, THL confirmed 93 new infections and 7 new deaths.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Finland is 91,744.
