There are 9,484 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Friday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Thursday and Friday is 105.

44 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (3,271), 17 in Espoo (1,117), 8 in Vantaa (1,097), 5 in Pieksämäki (previous number unknown), 4 in Kirkkonummi (103), 4 in Kuopio (82), 3 in Järvenpää (143), 3 in Lieksa (14), 2 in Vaasa (57), 2 in Kerava (104), 1 in Lahti (167), 1 in Turku (325), 1 in Lohja (59), 1 in Äänkoski (42), 1 in Sastamala (19), 1 in Tuusula (85), 1 in Jyväskylä (237), 1 in Sipoo (84), 1 in Pori (36), 1 in Orvaniemi (34), 1 in Hamina (11).

New deaths have not been reported. The death toll is at 343.

The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
