Do you like the sound of an electric guitar? Tomorrow is your lucky night, as Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom turns the Senate Square into a metal arena of 100 electric guitars on Friday August 14. No, it’s not a typo: 100!

Laiho has invited 100 electric guitarists to join him. He chose his counterparts by listening to various demos playing Alexi’s riff of a song titled 100 Guitars From Hell.

The event starts at 18:00.

And if you didn’t get enough, there’s an after party, too. At 21:00, Alexi Laiho continues playing at Tavastia club (Urho Kekkosen katu 4-6). The Local Band (Alexi Laiho, Jussi69, Olli Herman, Archie Kuosmanen) will entertain the audience with covers of hair metal songs from the 1980s, including Van Halen, Guns’n’Roses, Poison and Mötley Crue.
