​Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will address MPs of the Finnish Parliament via a video link in the Plenary Hall of the Parliamentary Building on Friday, the Finnish Parliament notes in a statement. The event will begin at 13:00, and its estimated duration is 15 minutes. This is not a plenary session of Parliament, but a separate event in the Plenary Hall.

President Sauli Niinistö and Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier (who is visiting Finland on Friday) will follow the video speech by President Zelensky in Parliament.​​ Ambassadors from several EU countries, among others, will also attend the event.

Speaker of Parliament Matti Vanhanen will give a short welcoming address which will be followed by a speech by President Zelensky. The event is in English.

The event is for invited guests only and the public gallery is not open to the public.
