Helsinki is bathing in sunlight on Monday noon as the temperature climbs to seven degrees by 13:00 and the thermometer stays on the plus side until midnight. On Tuesday, the weather is sunny in the southern and middle parts of the country, the temperature shifting between five and ten degrees. In Lapland the weather is cloudier but the temperature stays at about five degrees. On Wednesday afternoon a widespread rain area sweeps over southern and western Finland, while the temperature remains at about five degrees. In the east, the weather remains fair and the temperature could climb near ten degrees. On Thursday, the weather is cloudy throughout the country and the weather remains unstable in the southern and middle parts of Finland. The temperature is about five degrees. The weather for the remaining week looks unstable. There will be occasional rain in various parts of the country. The temperature, however, remains on the plus side.
