Finland’s president and foreign minister will visit Washington in mid-April for the annual Bilderberg Meeting, followed by public talks and high-level meetings across the U.S. capital.

President Alexander Stubb and Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen (NCP) are scheduled to visit Washington, D.C., U.S., from April 9 to April 12, 2026, to participate in a meeting of the Bilderberg Group.

The annual Bilderberg Meeting gathers influential politicians, researchers, journalists, and business leaders from Europe and North America, creating a space for informal and confidential discussions.

On Monday, April 13, President Stubb will take part in a discussion hosted by the Brookings Institution, concentrating on rebalancing the world order amidst fragmentation.

Meanwhile, Minister Valtonen will conduct several high-level meetings and will also attend an export promotion event at the Finnish Embassy.
